LA – Creating a Brief

• What is the client’s service/product?
  The client is a graphic designer.
  He provides, different print and digital designs.
  Website design and creation with WordPress.

 

• What are their requirements?
  Clean, Content-focused, on-brand, expressive but simple.

 

• What is the website’s goal?
  Firstly a landing page for him as a designer, and a place to direct potential clients, a portfolio basically.
  It needs to show of his most prominent work, have an easy direct way to communicate with his potential clients, forms for different works to streamline and give a nice user experience.

 

• How are you going to achieve this goal?
  I will work with close communication with the client, involve him in the process, and make sure his voice is heard and answered throughout the project.

 

• Build the website architecture (so we can see what sections will be needed)

• What is the design style that will be required?
  Dark and dystopian.
  Black and white primarily.
  A little swiss design philosophy based.

  The main goal is to let the clients work that he is displaying bring life to the site with color and design. It should be the main focus and contrast nicely with the more dystopian clean and objective design of the site itself.

• What are your suggestions for marketing the site?
  Focus on very strong SEO optimization. If it’s inside the clients budget a Facebook/Instagram target ad campaign as well.
